About the Serbian language

Serbian is the official language of Serbia and is spoken by over 8.5 million people. These speakers are mainly living in Serbia and former Yugoslavia.

The Serbian language can be written in both the Cyrillic and Latin alphabet. That has made Serbian subject to be a lot of outside influence. Words from languages in either alphabets are present in Serbian, giving the language influences from Greek, Latin, Italian, Turkish, Hungarian, Russian and German.

Our Serbian voices can be booked for many different types of productions including movie trailers, corporate video, e-learnings, radio commercials, TV-commercials and voice response messages.

In Russia a Serbian speaking voiceover is called a “сербский голос за кадром”, in Portugal people talk about a “voiceover sérvio” and in Poland it’s referred to as a “serbski głos”.
