About the German language

Swiss German refers to any of the Alemannic dialects spoken in the German-speaking part of Switzerland and in some Alpine communities in Northern Italy bordering Switzerland. Occasionally, the Alemannic dialects spoken in other countries are grouped together with Swiss German, as well, especially the dialects of Liechtenstein and Austrian Vorarlberg. Languages that are spoken in countries surrounding Switzerland are: French, Italian, Austrian and German.

Our Swiss voice actors have done many different productions such as TV-commercials and radio commercials. As well as animated features, audiobooks, voice response messages, E-learning, and of course movie trailers.

In Germany a Swiss voice actor is called a ‘Schweizer Sprachaufnahme’, in France ‘voix off Suisse’ and in Spain ‘Locutor Suiza’.
