Avez-vous d\u00e9j\u00e0 fait traduire votre script et la voix off ne correspond plus \u00e0 votre vid\u00e9o ? Le texte est trop long, les mots ne correspondent plus \u00e0 l’image ou le style ne convient pas.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Premi\u00e8rement : Le script original doit \u00eatre bon<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Entre nous, vous connaissez ces scripts \u00e9crits par le client du client, souvent trop d\u00e9taill\u00e9s et r\u00e9dig\u00e9s dans un langage que vous n’utiliseriez pas normalement. Une bonne voix-off peut g\u00e9rer cela. Mais qu’en est-il des traducteurs ?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Ils re\u00e7oivent souvent le message que la traduction du script n’est pas bonne. Par exemple, si un locuteur natif de votre entreprise v\u00e9rifie votre traduction, il n’en reviendra pas : “Quelle mauvaise traduction !”.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Mais… Cette critique est-elle justifi\u00e9e ? S’agit-il vraiment d’une mauvaise traduction ou la source n’est-elle pas vraiment ce qu’elle devrait \u00eatre ?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Conseil 1 : si vous faites v\u00e9rifier une traduction par un locuteur natif, demandez-lui de lire d’abord le fichier source, et demandez-lui s’il donnerait la m\u00eame note \u00e0 la traduction.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Conseil n\u00b0 2 : un bon briefing est essentiel<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

M\u00eame si vous travaillez avec un traducteur ayant une excellente r\u00e9putation, sans un bon briefing, vous risquez de vous retrouver avec une traduction de script avec laquelle vous ne pourrez pas travailler.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

De nombreux traducteurs ont l’habitude de traduire \u00e0 l’\u00e9crit. C’est bien, mais pas pour la vid\u00e9o. Il arrive trop souvent qu’un beau script en langue parl\u00e9e soit traduit de mani\u00e8re experte en une langue \u00e9crite impronon\u00e7able. Vous ne voulez pas que cela se produise, alors dites \u00e0 votre traducteur : “Mon cher, c’est pour une voix off, \u00e7a doit rester du langage parl\u00e9 !”<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Indiquez \u00e9galement que l’ordre est essentiel. Si votre traducteur change l’ordre d’une phrase parce que cela sonne mieux, ou parce que c’est la fa\u00e7on logique de le dire dans cette langue, alors vous avez un probl\u00e8me. L’image et le texte ne correspondent plus.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Ne vous contentez donc pas de donner \u00e0 votre traducteur le fichier source, mais montrez-lui \u00e9galement la vid\u00e9o. Il pourra alors voir de ses propres yeux pourquoi le bon ordre est si important.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Conseil n\u00b0 3 : dur\u00e9e<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Lorsque votre traducteur regardera la vid\u00e9o, il comprendra \u00e9galement que la dur\u00e9e du texte est essentielle. Apr\u00e8s tout, la longueur de votre vid\u00e9o est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement fixe et la traduction doit \u00eatre de la m\u00eame longueur que la vid\u00e9o. Sinon, vous serez bloqu\u00e9 lorsque vous placerez la voix-off sous la vid\u00e9o !<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Il s’agit d’une question tr\u00e8s d\u00e9licate pour votre traducteur. L’anglais, par exemple, n\u00e9cessite moins de mots pour exprimer quelque chose que le Fran\u00e7ais. Et que dire du finnois ? Ils ont des mots incroyablement longs ! Votre traducteur ne peut donc pas se contenter de faire une traduction litt\u00e9rale. Il doit r\u00e9\u00e9crire la voix off jusqu’\u00e0 ce qu’elle soit adapt\u00e9e, sans compromettre le contenu, l’ordre et le style. Tout un d\u00e9fi !<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Et oui, ce n’est pas insens\u00e9 si votre traducteur demande un suppl\u00e9ment pour cette transcr\u00e9ation. Mais je vous le garantis : cet investissement est rentable. Car sans trop d’efforts, vous pouvez offrir \u00e0 votre client un film dont la traduction lui va comme un gant !<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Conseil 4 : faites participer le traducteur \u00e0 la session d’enregistrement<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Vous voulez \u00eatre absolument s\u00fbr d’avoir une bonne traduction ? Une traduction qui correspond parfaitement \u00e0 l’image ? Dans ce cas, demandez \u00e0 votre traducteur la meilleure traduction possible et faites-le \u00e9galement participer \u00e0 l’enregistrement. Si quelque chose ne fonctionne pas, vous pourrez trouver ensemble une solution de rechange appropri\u00e9e. Et, s’il vous pla\u00eet, ne tenez pas votre traducteur pour responsable d’un tel d\u00e9calage, un traducteur n’est qu’un \u00eatre humain. Une erreur peut toujours se glisser. La traduction d’une vid\u00e9o est toujours difficile. Vous avez fait une erreur ? Cela peut facilement \u00eatre r\u00e9solu si votre traducteur \u00e9coute !<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Et oui, encore une fois : c’est un exercice co\u00fbteux. Mais surtout lorsqu’il s’agit d’une publicit\u00e9 pour une grande marque, regard\u00e9e par des milliers, des centaines de milliers, voire des millions de personnes, vous ne voulez pas avoir \u00e0 faire face \u00e0 des erreurs de traduction. L’\u00e9coute de votre traducteur permet d’\u00e9viter cela. Surtout si vous avez affaire \u00e0 une langue que vous ne connaissez pas vous-m\u00eame !<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
