About the Czech language

Czech is a West Slavic language of the Czech–Slovak group. It is spoken by over 10 million people and is the official language of the Czech Republic. Czech is closely related to Slovak, to the point of being mutually intelligible to a very high degree. Languages that are spoken in countries surrounding Czech Republic are: AustrianPolish and German.

Czech is the official language of the Czech Republic, and it is spoken by about 96% of the population. Other languages spoken in the Czech Republic are Slovak, GermanPolish and Romanian, amongst others.

Our Czech voice actors have done many different productions such as TV-commercials and radio commercials. As well as animated features, audiobooks, voice response messages, E-learning, and of course movie trailers.

In Germany a Czech voice actor is called a ‘Tschechische Sprachaufnahme’, in France ‘voix off Tchèque’ and in Spain ‘Locutor Checo’.
